I hope you're only talking about your TI because your TII don't have them.

are there any pans baffled from the factory that will work?
10-15 horse seems like a lot when we are talking balance shafts. in my rwd car i switched from a 727 trans to a 998. from all thats written about these transmissions, i should have freed up almost twice that amount. well the car ran the exact same mph indicating no h.p. saving. the e.t. dropped due to the better launch with the 998's looser converter.

Chrysler used to sell one but no longer. You can make your own, or use an earlier shallower oil pan or have someone make it for you.

I am building my old engine with forged internals and getting the balance rechecked, I think they screwed up. Maybe I will dyno it, then take them out and redo it, maybe, lol!

i would assume the pick-up requires changing if you go to the shallower pan? is this pan a 2.2l pan, and from what years? there is a bunch of them in wreckers out here.

You must use a CB (89+) 2.2L pan, turbo or not, as well as a turbo 2.2L pick-up, circular with no bracket, the 2.5 is rectangular.
