The more balanced it is, the higher it can rev to a point. Most import motors have bearing surfaces alot smaller than we do. They have alot less drag, plus they have a shorted bore/stroke ratio where as we have a long stroke and butt loads of torque. Darrell Cox runs his SRT4 up to 10,000 rpm, so I am sure with the proper balancing, our motors should be able to hit 8,000-10,000 too. Your gonna want some light weight parts in there.
