Ok, I'm thinking about something like this...
88' TI Block
88' TI crank
84' Carb rods (T2 with pushed pin)
New T1 pistons
All this with...
88' ported fast-burn with the roller cam
TU lightly Modified Garrett turbo and FMIC

There is more detail to it but I will not waste your time, I will be turning up the boost rather high and aiming likewise. Something like 250-275. Is this feasible on this set up and if so will it hold at that power level.

And if not the forged rods...at least get the early TI rods. They are beefier than the LW rods. I don't think they are as strong as the forged rods, but they are strong enough for 250-275.

If you are going 2.5...then it is a must. If you are going 2.2 then things are a little more forgiving.

You can make power on 2.5 TI pistons, but if you make a mistake with tuning...they usually don't last long enough to give you a second chance.

Or CB rods, same as the T2 rods.

the weak point here is going to be your block, they flex around 225-250 hp according to donovan
