I will pull the crank out Thursday and hopefully find out where these peices came from. I also have some wear on the cylinder walls from the piston skirts...is this normal? Nothing big....I could easily get rid of it with a cylinder hone and about 30 seconeds.

I dont see how the Turbo's center section could completely disintegrate a bearing. Ive extreme wear on the bearing but never see one blow. Also, if the bearing did blow apart, It would have had to completely go inorder for it to get it through the Oil Drain.

Lets say it is the turbo.. Check for excessive shaft-play or binding. IMHO if the Bearing turned it confetti the oil seal would have bit the dust.

As with an engine you will need to perform a complete tear-down and inspection. In almost all cases you will find the root of the problem.

Here is a list of Items in the engine that would be of a Goldish/Brass color

-Main and Rod Bearings
-Freeze Plugs
-Valve Guides
-Some Alignment dowels
-Turbo Bearings
