Will be looking for a motor to rebuild then a car to put it in. Want a Dodge turbo of course From what I have been reading a common would be best 89 + will be modifying it to get some good horsepower. Anything I should be aware of during my search phase. Probably would find my best deal at the wrecker eh
Any tips appreciated

You may want to choose your vehicle first. If you choose a heavier vehicle you will want a 2.5 for more torque to get off the line. A lighter car will respond better to a 2.2 engine.

and if you're good with engines (are you?) then a 16v hybrid engine would be a GREAT idea to get the absolute MOST out of your rebuild...

Going to find a dodge turbo motor. read the 2.2 vs 2.5 debate very interesting both sides had very good points. I will buy whatever I can find in the best shape. I think I will be getting it machined Looking for approx 300 to 350 horsepower therefore I will need good internals ya I need a parts list what to look for and price out. Will I be able to use any stock parts with this type of horsepower demand? I need a mentor
Will be taking my time with this project want to do the motor first because I don't have alot of room to store a car. Conseqently I will transplant the motor later. Really like the reliant but don't think they came turbo
Thanks in advance How is ebay for parts?
