I just got my new Venolias and was a little disapointed at their condition.
What do you guys think, is this fatal or minor?

If you bought these off a vendor, I'd call them, direct them to this post, then send them back for either good ones, or a refund (including shipping). If you paid $50 on Ebay, I'd carefully file down any high spots, checking with micrometer, and use them (reluctantly).
