i have water in my oil... on the dipstick, if i just let it sit while i collect money to do a rebuild is it going to get into the bearings and ruin my whole bottom end? or will it be fine just sitting there for a while, while i collect parts and all?
thanks guys

I would at the very least drain the oil, get as much out as you can. Then, pull the valve cover off and drench the cam in oil.

My Lebaron's engine had water in the oil, and then was parked for almost 2 years. When I took it apart, the cam was rusty as well as all the sliders (non roller cam) and was just a horrible mess. The mains and rod bearings were pitted. ANY pitting on bearing surfaces is bad. That engine was hooped.

Drain the coolant and oil, then put in new oil/filter and start it to flush the water out, then drain that oil. No, you don't need synthetic Mobil 1 for this, cheap Halvoline will work just fine. You must drain the coolant or you'll end up with coolant in the new oil too.
