What controlls the power light when checking for fault codes? It has been not giving all codes and sometimes stops flashing all together, usually before code 33. I got code 12 because I had the battery unhooked but then it stopped. My 84 Daytona doesn't have air so I should always get code 33 (a/c relay) but this summer it hasn't always been showing up. Also should my car run with code 42 (auto shutdown relay)? Most of the time it doesn't but today it did!
