I have an 86 shelby charger and I finally bought a a/f gauge, I read on the dodgegarage.com but couldn't find any info on if I can use my stock 1 wire o2sensor with an a/f gauge, can it be done?

now if I want to convert over to a later style I am assuming I should just go to a 4 wire setup. Now my other question is where/what vehicles can I get the 4 wire connector plugs from? also how do I wire this new o2 sensor into the car?

any help/tips would be great
thanks
steve

Yes, you can monitor a 1 wire O2 with a gauge.
To install a 4 wire, you'll need to run one 12v circuit, plus an extra ground (preferably directly to battery). The 12v circuit is for the heating element in the 4 wire sensor. This should be a key switched fused source. The extra ground is for signal ground.
