I am just getting my car finished up and I am looking for A/F ratio numbers.I have an Innovative LM-1 wideband and am looking for idle, half throttle, and full throttle A/F ratio.

Car 1987 Daytona Shelby Z
Mods.
Stock rebuilt Garret T-2 turbo
Built T-2 with JE pistons Arp main, rod and head fasteners
Comp/Super 60 cam
Mildly port matched Intake
FM ported and Jethot coated exhaust maifold
TU 3" Jethot Coated swingvalve and Matching SS downpipe
3" SS side exit ehaust with Dynomax muffler in stock cat location
MP +20 fuel injectors
MP stage 2 LM
accufab AFPR
255 LPH fuel pump
3" intake with cone filter
Frount mount with 2 1/4 hot and 2 1/2 cold side piping
15 degrees base timing and 55psi base fuel pressure.

I would like to start out using the +20 injectors and MP cal before switching to a dual stage 3 bar cal. Any help would be appreciated.

Any buddy with a wideband have any info for me the reason I am asking is because my 2004 Lancer Evolution VIII runs between 9 and 9.5/1 and most of the aftermarket flashes lean it out to 10.9-11/1 and I am not sure were one of these 8-valve motors is happy and safe.

Is that a/f ration verified with a wideband? 9.5 is pretty rich.

9.5 is crazy rich.

Most of my fathers cars we tune to around 12-12.5/1 a/f. at WOT.
14.5 the rest of the time...the ecu and 02 should govern this anyways...at idle and part throttle that is.

11.5 a/f at WOT is considered safe
14.7 at cruise is widely accepted as the best
BUT, I have the a/f at 15.3 at cruise . I am high on the Nox's but the gas milage is great!

Thanks for the info guys it helps quit a bit. Yeah 9.5-1 is really rich that is how they tune the Evo from the factory thats why so many have soot all over the back. The more you do to lean it out the more fuel it adds.

A side note... isn't that a bit aggressive on the base timing? Are you monitoring knock?
