Recently I got an 0TC 4000E scanner with '93 Patherfinder II cartridge. I have had it hooked up to my Shelby Lancer ('87 Turbo II electronics) and Omni GLH Turbo ('89 Turbo I electronics). There is a big difference in the TPS readings I'm getting.

Omni:
.98 throttle closed
4.02 WOT

Lancer
.82 closed
2.78 WOT (!)

I'm wondering if the low TPS voltage at WOT on my Lancer is preventing the computer from seeing WOT and therefore not getting the WOT fuel enrichment (open loop). Should I try another TPS?

Despite all the fuel system mods on my Lancer, O2 sensor voltage is only .80 at WOT, which is alarmingly low. I'm only running 15 psi boost....wondering if the low WOT TPS values have something to do with it.

WOT O2 on my Omni is ~.96v

Both cars have very similar fuel systems: Walbro 255 ltr/hr pump, fresh filters lines and clamps, MP +20s, Accufab AFPR. The Lancer also has the FWDP fuel rail. The Lancer has a 3-wire O2; Omni is using 4-wire.

I just changed out the TPS on the Lancer and now the readings are:

1.16 throttle closed
4.00 WOT

I have only done one WOT run, but O2 readings are now .90v.

On my R/T, my TPS volts are usually arounf 3.6-3.8 at WOT

Cool, I can't wait to try this scanner out on my R/T. I should have got one of these a long time ago.

I drove my car all day today at work and WOT O2 was .90-.92. Seems to be consistently higher by about .10-.12v at WOT since I changed out the TPS. Car doesn't really drive any different. Autometer narrow band A/F is showing 18 lights so it seems to agree with the scanner. Wish I had a wideband so I really knew what was going on.
