i have a 87 t2 shelby z

at 5500 it bogs down if i lift my foot it picks up, not over boosting, not sure what it could be any help took of muffler cause it sounded like the exhaust was pushing hard . got better was starting at4500. what is max boost suppose to be? am getting 11 psi sometime and 7 the other times. any help?

i have that problem with my 88 shelby z. when i advance the timing 2 degrees it gets better and has more power more power. still boggs down though when i push the throttle to the floor. i think it may be a timing issue.

They run very rich at WOT on a stock computer and too lean at partial throttle, you will be much faster at part throttle and it will be much more dangerous for your motor.

no luck put on new timing belt reset timing to stock same sh_t. this sucks.
didi notice the car was always running rich. putting a a/f ratio guage tommorow. maybe new map and o2 sensor.

55k RPM? wow. Must sound like one of those R/C nitro cars.

Anyway, I will put money on the table to bet that it's your cam timing.
