Computer swap question.

I want to check whether or not my trimcal is working properly. Can I just swap the computer into my other R/T without the injectors or 3 bar map. I don't need to start the car just turn it on so the computer is on (engine not running). I am having a problem with the knock always reading 1 volt on the car the trimcal is on now.

yeah it will be fine, just dont try to start the car

Cool, I just need to see the screen of the trimcal on a different car and see if it reads the same knock voltage.

actually it will probably even start and run fairly well, but dont hit boost or things could get ugly
