Im having code 26 on my csxt, im using an older otc scanner. I looked it up in a basic haynes book for all makes of cars, and it says "Peak inj. driver currently not reached because of high resistance in circuit". Ive been searching if thats the true meaning or if its just a generic code. I found this one " Injector driver circuit 1 open or shorted", so i gather its a problem with the inj. wiring harness so i disconnected it and cleaned it and put dielectric grease in there. Cleared the code and it came back on, while im pressing on the fuel pedal i feel it hesitate a little. Is there anything else I can check and or clean before I start replacing parts?
