bad idle with a/c on

i have a 89 dayotna n/a how do set the idle on it ??? when the car is runing with out the a/c it is fine i turn the air on and it wants to idle ruff and shake a bit more the car runs ok but this i can not figure out... what can i adjust to get rid of this issue...

sounds like you may have a voltage issue...get your alternator checked!

i would make sure the ais motor is operating correctly. the ecu maintains idle normally, but cannot compensate enough if the ais is non-functioning.

cool i changed the altenator out and it now has 13.31 at idle befoer it would not hit 13 volts goin down the road at 2500 rpm
