Hello to all,

This site has been very helpful thus far. I have purchased a second hand Dawes Device, did not come with instructions.

I have seen several posts on here with links to the Dawes Device / 3 Bar Racing Instructions website. I have looked at that site. All of the air fuel meters listed have only 3 wires (red, black, white). The device I have purchased has 4 wires (red, black, green, yellow). I have been told the green and yellow wires are a signal wire and a dimmer switch wire (not sure which is which). Does anyone know for sure?

And, when one says dimmer switch wire, what exactly does that mean? Is this a signal wire that goes to the light switch (turn headlights on, it gets dimmer) or is it a voltage specifice (rheostat type wire)?

Any insight or info is greatly appreciated!

I know the 3 Bar site has an e-mail me for questions link, and I know Mr. Dawes himself trolls around here now and then, but I would really feel like an @$$ hat to ask him how to wire this thing up, since I didn't buy it from him directly.

Thanks!

Matthew

Somebody paid for it. Ask Chris to maybe put the link on his site since he is selling them.
