Anybody know if an 89 daytona gas tank is the same as an 89 lebaron gas tank?

Ya know GLH, I would have to assume they are, but I cannot be sure. They do have the same underpinnings, same brakes, same motor/tranny, radiator, wiring, etc. I believe the only difference between the 2 is the skin. As long as it is from the same generation model you shouldnt have an issue.

I do not know for sure, but I am going to say no because the floor pans are different behind the front seats.

Exactly the same. I have a Daytona tank in my Lebaron and a Lebaron tank in my Daytona - it's a long story - but yes they are the same.

Like I said GLH, I wouldn't try putting an 86 tank on a 92, they are a different generation car, but I believe the 89's will swap.

You can check one of the online autoparts stores and compare part #s. I checked 89 LeBaron and Daytona tanks on Advance Autoparts website. The same part #.

The gas tank in my 1988 daytona is out of a early nineties dodge dynasty. didnt even mess with the pump just wired it up . had to splice different plug for pump, and use some rubber fuel hose.. but i am pretty sure a lebaron tank will fit.
