Hey guys I have a question. My stock lines are pretty rusted, so I have decided to change them to steel braided.

I was thinking of going with -8 feed and -6 return.

What do you guys think, too big or too small?

Cool thanks. I thought the -8 would be a bit large.

What is your source for these stainless braided hoses? Are there any special connectors? The reason I'm asking is these hoses are not only stronger but they look better. My reason for using them will be for both performance and looks. I'd love to have something other than regular hose clamps.

Ideas?

One trick is, if it's still in good shape, use the stock 5/16" feed as the return & just add the -6an to feed.

Well I dont really have a source. I was going to buy a kit from summit and go from there. Both my lines are pretty bad so I'm just going to change them both.

That is what I did on my Spirit R/T and I have been very pleased with everything. I redid all the hardline with 3/8" aluminum, used -6AN braided stainless hose for the flexible sections at the fuel tank and underhood. All the AN fitting are black anodized and from Summit as well. So much better than those crappy quick disconnect fittings my R/T came with and there isn't a clamp left in the system.
