I was wanting to know what it is the chargeair temp sensor actualy does I know the t2 setups used it to modify the fuel flow for the air temp coming out of the intercooler (being cooler than the t1 setups) but does the computer read the actuall temp sensor or does it just modify the map sensor reading. if I remember the wiring diagram correctly it was tied into the map sensor ? any help would be greatly appr.

No, it reads the temperature.

In reality, the sensor is so slow to respond, and soaks up so much heat from the manifold, that it's practically useless...

hey thanks I was wondering because I have a 89 t1 2.5 computer running a 2.2t2 set up and I was worried about leaning out but so far it's been 20f and it;s fine at 14-15psi i have ran it in 100deg weather to and it doesn't run to rich just a little but it's all right so if I wanted to use a charge air temp sen I would need a cal Right
