I knew there was a reason I take pictures. This is aparently from an 88 model shelby engine daytona. But this is a remanufactured unit from 1994 I think.

Both his van and his Daytona are using '89 2.2 liter SMEC electronics and are non-California emissions vehicles.

The most desired one is the 89 TII SMEC with this P/N 5235069
It has the 2 second delay in the cutout

I think one of the 88 TII SMECs is 5235906

Yes, what Brian said. I'm looking for #s to compare to the computers I have to see what they are. I bought one for a spare that was supposed to be an 89 T2 computer, and while it runs my car, it doesn't have the umph my stock computer had.

So what is part # 4532035? 4532036 is an MP T2. Is the other a T1 MP? Both are SMEC.

Not trying to hijack the thread but who has the actual chip numbers for SMEC? I have A few I will post up here tomarrow. Seems we should keep both these numbers close to each other!!!

For the SMEC, the chip numbers are always the same as the last 3 digits of the P/N. Those same 3 digits are also encoded into the binary file stored on the chip.

I have one with P/N P4532132, had a hard time finding what computer it is. Turns out it's a T2 service part replacement. I guy that works at a dealership informed me.
