did anyone ever try the spark plug trick that is on the fuelecomonytips.com site. the thing where they drill a small hold in the outer electrode and make the inner electrode the shape of a sateilite dish, to suposdeldy increase torque and get some fuel milage. if anyone has, did you feel or see an improvment in anything. im just curious if it would be a waste of time to try it. thanks.

I have run similiar ones, below, for about 10-15 years. I had them out for a few months while I tried some side gapped ones. I ended up putting the sonic ones back in. Try regular plugs for a few weeks too, every once in a while. Again, the sonic ones go back in.

I'm gonna modify a flux capacitor to take place of the distibutor, wires, and plugs. My humble estimates show 200-235 mpg on a V-8 engine. Still have to work out some ideas.........
J/K...just kidding.

i think ill say what the hell and make one, and just hook it up to one of my spark plug wires on my car and see the spark from the outside of the engine. if the spark looks any more better then from the orginal plug, i guess it owuldnt hurt to use them, right?

I also bought some of those sonic plugs that scot s tried. They went into my 84 Pontiac Sunbird. I did not notice any difference at all, performance or gas mileage. I left them in until the car finally fell apart. No issues except one broke when I took it out after having it in for a while. That was the only one I changed out. The hole in the bottom electrode is very small, so I doubt the spark shoots through the hole like they illustrate on the web site.
