According to the wiring diagram I have 89 Daytona 2.2/2.5 Turbo the signal wire from the SMEC to the ACT Sensor is from Term 21 of the 60 Pin Connector, the wire is Black/Red, I would follow the wire and see where it leads.

it goes where should be going. all wires are factory, also air intake is oryginal without that sensor. the plug for sensor lies on fuel line.. i have another shelby witch have this sensor.. so.. i dont know.

thing is, that everything was ok ( i bought this car 2 weeks ago) until my last night hard hammering arround. check engine controll turned on..

i'm asking just for free of my mind, because it is a spare parts car and i really dont care.

Someone that has one of these will have to answer that question.
If that circuit was open the CEL would be on constantly from the beginning.
Did the factory plug a fixed resistor in there to prevant this and it fell out?
Now i am curious.

i don't think so. the plug looks like never been used. at least for a long time (a little corrosion, no scratches of any kind etc).

but if there was no sensor by factory, so computer should have modified software that does not take any readings from it. if that is true, why error appears?

I am as curious as you.Waiting for someone in the know to answer.
Some Manual Trans cars (Not Just Chrysler) would set codes for the TCC Lock Up Solenoid because the wiring was there but no solenoid, but this would not illuminate a CEL.
