Just wondering if I can just throw an inline External Walbro on my '86 GLH and leave the stock intank in, or should I just replace the intank with a walbro? It currently has an external secondary pump? and the stock 'circa '86'(probably original) in-tank, and I dont want to starve this thing. I am ordering a AFPR, it currently has +40 inj with a TU cal'ed '87LM @ 20psi, 3bar map, stock turbo and 3" SV & 3" full exhaust going on as we speak, but I am also replacing a melted piston and dot want to run lean....Will the external do the trick?

LOL. Get the in tank. You might find it easier to install if you get a TBI sending unit.
