Replaced fuel Filter

This may sound like a corny question, but i gotta rule out my issue. Does it matter which was the lines are hooked up on a fuel filter on a daytona, lebaron etc?

Most of the filters I have are labeled in and out. I *think* the inlet is usually in the centre.

mine has out labeled in both spots, thats why i wans wondering, getting a fuel starvation problem, not sure if its a weak pump or something else

That is a good q, I will look at the fsm. I put them in the same way they come out.

Just did the filter in my omni on saturday, and the out port is in the center.
