I have a leak at one of my fuel injectors on my '87 Daytona Shelby Turbo ii. I tried to remove the fuel rail, but could not get enough clearance at the injector under the regulator. Is there a trick to getting this off without removing the upper intake plenum?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Rob.

I removed the diaphram(sp) "thingy" at the end of the fuel rail and also removed the fuel pressure regulator. That will give you enough clearance to remove the fuel rail with the injectors still attached. It is a little tricky but possible. Now thinking back, I think that I removed the valve cover also, not sure on that but you will know it if you need more clearance. Good luck

yep remove the valve cover too, you should be able to leave the diaphram and the throttle body end on.
