My niece just bought an 90 Daytona, turbo automatic car; the previous owner replaced the original turbo motor with an 89 non turbo and its computer. Car runs erratically at best. What is missing here? Sorry, havent been following TD's in awhile so if I'm missing an easy fix here please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Need more info ;
Are we working on a SMEC or SBEC?(1 or 2 Connectors on Controller)89 was a split year.
Can you be more specific on the Driveability Problems.
Hard Starting,Stalling,Rough or Erratic Idle, Hesitation, Surging, Loss of Power,Backfiring,Smoke(Black, White, Gray)
What Speeds or RPM Range are the Problems most noticable?
Are there any Fault Codes Set?
