I have an 85 dodge daytona and my light seems to be coming on sporadically. I check the codes and nothing any ideas. The electrical in my car has done some funny things I was guessing voltage regulator maybe? any help is appreciated

Is that the only thing on the instument cluster that is acting up?
What other electrical gremlins are you experiancing?

Only other thing in the gauge cluster so far is the tac but i hear i can just remelt the soldier to fix this correct? Other than that just the power locks/windows in general sometimes they work really good other times not so much and maybe its normal for an older car but with the fan on you can hear the fan motor weaken when using the electric windows. Some while back the headlights occasionally dimmed and brightened for fun it seemed

The tach is probably cracked solder joints on the circuit board,it is also possible the power loss lamp flickering is also related to this,you should probably reflow all the solder joints on the board and see if the problem still exists.

Ok cool doing this just requires a soldering iron and I just take out the cluster and go to town eh?

I actually heated them up and added a drop of new solder on the heated old solder to be sure there was a good solder joint. Just hit every joint on the board and you will be good to go.
