Dumping Fuel!!!!help Plz

my buddys 89 dodge daytona in DUMPING at least a half cup of fuel in to the throttle body at intial startup and just keeps pumping after trying to crank it has a new furl pressure regulator the one that sits on top, a new injector tryed alot of shit but still NOTHING.... crimped the fuel line with a pair of vice grips and it fired right up could this be the in line fuel regulator that is bad or the whole pump???? HELP PLZ

has brand new regulator on top of the throttle body still does it

Hold the pedal on the floor and then crank it and see what happens.

Sounds like the injector is stuck open or damaged to me.

I assume you are referring to a TBI. Saw this numerous times,either a faulty MAP sensor or Coolant Temp Sensor.
