The Mopar performance catalog says changes to the fuel system are required to use the super 60 pump. I already have the pump. It came with the car, just not in the car. What changes need to be made? I heard mention about new fittings? Where do I get these. The dealer seamed to know squat about what changes needed to be made or anything about fittings. The only thing they seem able to do is enter and order the part # I give them.

seems most people are running the Walbro, as its a stock drop in replacement, and the price is right.

I have been using the S60 pump since 1997. At first I used it externally as a booster and it was extreemly noisy even after experimenting with various insulators. After talking with a few people who were experienced with the S60 pump I was advised not to use it as a booster but internal. I first removed the stock intank pump and it was a little less noisy but still very loud. Then I installed it in the tank and we have been happy ever since. I would recomend using it in the tank only especially if you drive the car on the street. As to fittings they are metric and I got mine at a Bosch hose shop. When I mounted it internally I didn't have to use them so I think I still have them around if someone wants to try one externally.
Thanks
Randy

A lot of German mechanical fuel injected cars use pumps that appear very similar to the S60 pump. Try crawling under some Vee Dubs, BeeEMDubs and Volvos next time you're at the local 'yard. You can probably scrounge up just what you need.

Ron Gregory at http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com also sells a lot of specialized metric fittings for his in-line Walbro pumps. Might give him a shout.
