I pulled the 88 t1 out of my shadow and installed it in mt 89 gtc (t2 car). It ran fine, but since it has the smaller injectors (27lb) and the mitsu turbo, i wanted to put the shadow's t1 computer in it. It wouldn't start with that computer, and brought up code 43 "problem with spark interface/injection control circuit". The shadow was just running monday before i pulled the drivetrain, so i don't see how the computer went bad. I found my factory t2 injectors (34lb), installed them and the t2 computer. The other reason I wanted to swap computers is that since the t1 has no air charge temp sensor, my check engine light is on with the t2 comp. Any reason why the 88 computer won't work in the 89 car?
