anyone using an MSD Blaster 3 coil?

I got one with Magnacore plug wires from FWDP, but the coil tower is different from factory coil, so the wires won't work with the new coil without cutting them up, which I don't want to do, cuz I want it perfect. The coil to cap wire is obviously the most important. Looks like the Blaster 2 would work fine, and the internals are supposed to be the same. THought maybe I could pull the tall tower off the Blaster 3 coil (maybe it's just an adaptor), but it seems to be permanent. Anyone using this set-up? thanks...

My thoughts are that the MSD is really only good at high RPMs. correct me if am wrong here... The Factory coils are decent enough IMO

Problem with these coils is that vibration tends to loosen those terminal rod connections inside the tower insulator. That and I don't think there is as much oil inside the bodies ... unlike the OEM coils ... to cool them. I haven't had the best of luck with these coils.

I'd dump it in favor of a Mallory ... or just stick with OEM.
