I am starting to wrap up my project and need some advice/suggestions to see if I'm on track. My goal is to hit in the 300hp with the setup listed; it's easy to make corrections now, before the engine goes back in the chassis. More power is always a plus but 300 is where I was aiming

2.5 common block .030 stock crank
mildly ported swirl port head with stock valves
stock 2.5 turbo roller cam
Mildly ported 1 piece intake
52mm throttle body with ported throat of intake
+40% injectors
walbro 255 with stock pump supplying the walbro
adjustable fuel pressure regulator @ 60-65 psi wot
87 Mopar Performance logic module
3 bar map
MSD coil
stock exhaust manifold
3in exhaust with dynomax muffler
Large swing valve
stock .48 A/R turbo @ apx 20 psi (starting to run out of money)

I have read a lot of posts about different parts and upgrades, but I have never of horsepower outcomes. I was hoping to give a base to plan around of decent power that wasn't out of reach for people on a budget. Let me know your opinions, suggestions, and upgrades. Maybe this info can help someone build their project

You're not going to get 300 hp with

Quote:
stock .48 A/R turbo @ apx 20 psi (starting to run out of money)
and that uses 2 bar map sensor, not 3 bar.

are you looking for 300 Hp at the crank or at the wheels ??

with a 3-bar MAP *and* the custom calibration it would need, *then* you could run 20psi, altho that is at the upper limit of a TII / .48

with a decent intercooler (SRT/4 or better), and with a good port job on the exhaust mani, I think this combo would push 260-270 *crank* Hp

you need more head porting, oversize valves, a 2-piece intake mani, and a .63 turb housing w/ 3" SV to "uncork" that combo ; then you could put out closer to 300 Hp

I forgot to mention the intercooler, it's off of a dodge cummins, so I think it will be plenty big. I will have to break down and buy the larger turbo; just swollow hard, it's only money.

I have looked through turbos unleashed and they don't offer any logic mods, who do you go to?
