255 pump? fuel pressure

Ok I had a stock fuel pump and it was getting old so I wanted to replace it with a 255.

So I got a 255 and put it in, checked the fuel pressure and took in for a ride. Well now it is running lean. I am thinking it is the wrong pump. I have the fuel pressure set at 55 with vac line off.

I have also been told with my set up 2.5 +20inj and a S60 15psi turbo I should have to run higher fuel pressure. This makes no sense that now with a 255 I would have to turn the pressure up thought.

Any ideas?
