I know that when it comes to injectors the biggest thing is the fuel pressure and pulse width... an engine running at 2500 RPM will have a longer pulse width than one running at 1500 RPM... What if you used 2 Distributors, one TBI and one MPI, made the toothed pick up wheel have only 1 or 2 teeth directly opposite each other, using the TBI comp run the TBI wheel in there also with one pick up reading the correct spart timeing, and the second 1 or 2 tooth wheel get signals that tell the injectors to work.... This is one road block that I first came acrossed; Pulse width, thats where the TBi comp comes into play (I dont have a working MPI harness and comp combo and cant afford to get one since im going with megasquirt eventually anyway), using the pickup sensor that reads the 1 or 2 tooth wheel, make it act as a switch that sends a signal to a switch board that will cycle between the injectors as the tooth passes bye the sensors... If any one wants to see my diagram/picture just let me know, if it works out right, it would be a simple standalone thats uses nothing but stock electronics...

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? trying to come up with the most unusual way to avoid doing things the right way (paying for a custom cal)?

The point to this discussion is to try and find anyone here that may have more wiring knowledge than I do so that i can find some kind of circuit that will switch between 2 different wire leads to give signal for the injectors, I know that there are alot of other things to do that would make more sence, but right now im jsut looking for a switch circuit, thats all; and i figured that some one in this area of the forum would know something about wiring, and since the ECM is electrical circuitry then mabye some one would have a lead where i could find a simple automatic switch: it just needs to go... 1 'signal' -then - 'switch' - 2 'signal' - then - 'switch' - 1 .... and so on, something that could handle being switched between quickly and rapidly for long periods of time
