whats the big deal with 72lb injectors? where does one get a set? would you lower your fuel pressure? could you still program a cal to work with them like
+40s? not going to buy any, just curious.

Some of the turbo Neon guys are running up to 95lb injectors. Seems that they are usually running injectors that big when they are running E85 rather than gasoline. Gotta get a WHOLE LOT MORE of that stuff into the engine, and the E85 is so knock resistant that they can run more boost and make more power, so yeah, 95lb injectors end up being just about perfect.
72's will work with the stock computer when it's been calibrated to work with them.

the 72 lb injectors are 85 lbs run at 45 PSI base fuel pressure to compinsate for high 30+ PSI boost pressures.

The 72s cost about twice what a set of 54s cost and are for over 350 WHP engine setups. My engine was running lean with the 54s real bad even with everything turned up so I changed to 72s. FWDperformance and TU do custom cals, among other others. Both can sell you a computer retuned for the 54lb injectors and 3 bar map for boost well above 15 PSI. On an 8v engine don't consider 72s without heavy mods. The 16v DOHC Neon heads flow nearly twice as much air and the manifolds and headers keep up with the heads. For a DOHC engine it is popular to run 8 injectors on a race engine. I run a bolt on Accufab adjustible fuel regulator from a Buick Grand National.

Running E85 is easy with a turbo Dodge, buy +20 42 lb injectors on a stock engine and computer. E85 is 105 octain and a chemical intercooler. Aim for 10:1 at cruize and 8:1 at high boost for AFR with E85. The whole fuel system should be stainless with E85
