You don't have to care about it. Just stating that's where the slight extra cost is coming from. And for people using the a/f to tune it might be a feature they want. You can also use it to save a bit of gas if you're doing your own calibrations.
87dtna The summit setup is just an unmarked innovate. You can find a DB,G2, or G3 setup on Ebay for the same price.

(im running a 2.5CB, ported 782 head, MP 314 cam, S70 turbo, NPR.)
awaiting the stage 5 calibration from cindy!!!
and later this week, a devil's own progressive kit!!!!
i had a S60 computer in it, (temporary, base timing 4*) and at 18psi i had 70psi fuel pressure. checked plugs, never went lean. although i didnt drive it much at all.
i ordered a guage pod (2) and wanted to get a 30psi autometer UL and something to moniter AF, but cant afford the wideband at the moment. is the autometer AF guage a POS or can i get away with it. or should i go with a egt guage?

NO, they arent pos, i have used the C2 on a few cars, one being a 88 shadow with a forged 2.2 cb, 3" exhaust and 18 psi, its helpful, a little hard to read at a quick glance, but its better then nothing for the moment, it can save your engine and you can always resell it when your ready for wide band.
*with it i could notice a slight change in my air/fuel ratio after i made the 3" upgrade.

So would I be better off with the INOVATE or AEM? Im only looking to push 250-300hp this summer till I get a block to build. Something I could carry along to the next motor would be nice but not necissary. Im hoping to not have to go higher than the stage 4CAL.

yeah, its known as a dawes device, built in rochester, MI. its very nice for narrowband, many prefer it over the bouncing style meters, because it has 4 lights and makes reading at a quick glance a snap.

narrowband is acceptable on an n/a engine but on a turbo car they just wont get the job done if you got by on a narrowband then you are very lucky and should probobly think about playing the lotto.
