burning my own cals?

i've heard a lot of people talking about buying chips and programmers.... where do i get these things? and how hard is it to do? am i better off ordering a cal. from Cindy?

Chips you can find all over the place, mouser.com is a good one I believe.

Programmers you can find on Ebay, Willem makes good programmers, I used their Dual power programmer.

As for cals, it's not something you'll want to get into if you aren't willing to devote a fair bit of time to learn it. That being said, you can sign up to the yahoo group "D-cal" and download some very good cals there that Rob (Shel-Game) and a few others have done, they do excellent work.

so since i have no clue what any of this stuff means when i looked it up, i should just order a cal from FWD hu? lol
