okay my dad was telling me some dude with his turbo mini got fuel injectors from the junkyard that would work in a 2.2/2.5 car but he can't remember the web page. tomorrow we are going to the worlds largest junkyard (wegotused.com) and was wondering if anybody knew which car(s) it would be? and im talking fuel injectors that would support more fuel not just what the stock ones support but more.

the dark blue ford injectors flow the same at our fuel pressure as the +20s. i have a set that i used for a couple of days, but when my car started stumbling, i replaced them with legit +20s. the problem didn't go away, and turned out to be a ruptured hose between the fuel pump and the pump hanger. the resistance is about the same and with the o-rings for our injectors, the ford injectors fit nicely, though kind of tightly.

i find em all the time on four-cylinder probes. also heard of them being on the turbo coupes, but they're more rare. just keep your eyes sharp, and you shouldn't have to search too many cars. be sure to check all the four cylinder fords, though. matter of fact, if anyone is interested in using or has the means to test them at various fuel pressures, i still have four of them on a shelf in my garage.

im a ford guy also.. the first four numberw would be someting like E8T5 E5EN E6Z1 E59E then one dash and 2-3 letters and maybe one number like this. AB BA A1A AA B1

only markins on it are DENSO and 195500-1280. my main question was about the injector's performance at our fuel pressure. i remember tim had some from a turbo coupe in his new yorker with no reported problems, so i put some in my charger. after fuel delivery issues, i assumed the injectors were locking up and spent $100 on +20s only to find out that the pressure hose from the pump to the hanger had split, and since i already had +20s, i haven't put the ford injectors back in yet, especially since i have other issues.
thanks

the turbo 2.3's are 2.35- 2.4 ohms.
the 2.3 in the ranger non turbo was 16.2 volts.
the 2.3 HSC motors have 1.4ohms injectors.
the later 5.0 mustang style and 5.0 NON HO units are 14.5 15.5 and 16.2 depending on the motor, HO or not and LSC style or not.
but the 84-85 CFI 5.0H.O."s found in the automatic cars have 2.25 ohm injectors. they were also rated at 52lbs a hour
the 85 86 turbos had injectors rated at 35lbs at 38PSI and the eariler 83 84 styles were 30lbers at 38PSI..
the denso part numbers you gave me macncheese i cant find..
i have a huge listing of just ford numbers.. and BOSCH numbers.. but nothing denso..
