87 glhs most of the time I leave the battery hooked up it drains its.come back in 24hrs to start it and battery is dead. then there is other days i can go three days before its dead.when I hook up the battery cable I get a little spark. Does anyone have any ideals that can help me. Thanks

Is it blowing fusible links or fuses consistently?

Try eliminating fuses one at a time to rule out those circuits.

NO IT DOESNT BLOW ANY FUSES AT ALL.

Disconnect the + battery cable, and then disconnect the big white tube connector that supplies power to all the fuselinks/alternator. Then reconnect the + terminal. If the battery still drains with that white connector disconnected, then the short probably has to do with the starter. If the problem disappears, at least you have it narrowed down a little.

DISCONNECTED THE WHITE CONNECTOR AND BATTERY STILL GOES DEAD. SO I HOPE ITS THE STARTER.
