ok. i'm having some problems and i want to eliminate my computer as a possibility, but finding a turbo L-body comp in the junkyard is nearly impossible. what i have now is the 86 L-body wiring harness and a socketed LM (glhs stage II) with two extra wires run for the aic. the engine is an intercooled 89 common 2.5 with +20% injectors and a mitsu turbo. i've read that only the GLHS computer can handle the L-body electronics with the later style TB, but can't i repin another LM to work with my harness? if i did, should i look for anything 2.2 after 88? does it have to be from an intercooled car? does the transmission make a difference? is it possible to repin the module and not my wire bracket?
thanks
tony

you are correct, to run the newer style intake using a logic module setup, you will need a GLHS module, an 87 CSX module, or an 87 T2 module from a T2 Shelby Z, a Shelby Lancer module will work to. You cant just burn a program from a GLHS and pop it on any old T1 Logic Module, it is missing drivers and stuff needed for T2 (new style intake).

NOT TRUE. The stage II module I used to run is just a simple old 86 TI board, socketed with BOTH the GLHS chips transferred in. As long as you have the AIS wires run and in properly, you will not have a problem.
