Doesn't really matter if they're up or down. I have all of mine down. With the adjustable FP regulator, there's not enough room for #1 to be up anyway.

I saw something once that somebody (I think Pat Culkin?) put together about swapping injectors on a two-piece, but I can't seem to find it right now. No matter, I just did it myself a couple of weeks ago.

Remove the PCV connector from the valve cover and the metal nipple from the plenum. Remove the FP regulator. Unbolt the rail. Remove the clips from the injectors and separate them from the rail. That should give you enough room to pull the injectors out of the intake.

It's not real easy, but it can be done. It wouldn't hurt to have a fire extinguisher on hand, just in case.

just took one apart last night. On mine the harness goes up, down and over. The number one connector was pointing toward the rear all other were pointing toward the front. I need to get mine apart do you just take all the bolts out and whack it with a rubber mallet? That gasket is ON there.

Well, that worked for me. Your mileage may vary.
