Either one will work.
I tried to fire up the car on the MS today. No luck, it's not firing the coils properly, one light will flash, then the other light stays on for a full second, then the other light flashes, etc etc.. (The lights being the coil output LED's) Not sure what's going on there. Anyone want to go to the MS-Extra forums and voice some support for having this "wheel" supported? The main MS2-Extra developers usually add this sort of thing.

I know the stock TD spark map was floating around somewhere a couple years ago.. Anyone got it handy?

Yes this is map i have do for TD.
Take a look here and you will find 2.2 89, 2.2 87 mp, 2.5 89 & also SRT timing map. I have also include the file to read stock coolant and iat sensor, but you must customize you MS firmware using easytherm.. If you wish i can upload the file you need to run chrysler sensor instead of GM.

Simply change R4 and R7 to 10k resistors when building the MS and it will support Chrysler temp sensors right out of the box. No easytherm hacking, no swapping in GM sensors.
I got the van to fire up on the MS. I changed the order I had put the numbers into the wheel decoder. I don't think I've got it quite right yet, but it does run on it now. Funny thing.. There's no check engine light when you run the engine without a coil hooked up.. Who'd have guessed.. Stock ECM is still doing fuel control at the moment. Will fix that next.

It's is SPARK table Una! Look carefully. Couple of TD member use then. I work couple of hour to find and do this spark table.
Easytherm is easy too.

That is a VE map, fuel. NOT spark. I can make a fuel map in 2 minutes with the wideband. Even the one labeled "4g63spark.vex" is FUEL.. Spark angles don't go over 90 degrees..

Ok Una, instead of trying to tell me my stuff not work take 2 MINUTES to download these file import it in your MS in spark 1. Those value in this table are not real value but binary value..What you see in the file is not the direct ignition timing. Those map is WORKING!

Ok, guess they are. Just didn't want to hose my existing table by importing the wrong thing. Thanks for the files.

So my attempt at code hacking didn't work. Haven't been able to talk the -Extra developers into adding the wheel to the code (nobody here bothered to follow the link and lend some support). The next option is to take a dremel and cut off the windowed vane in the distributor. Then I can just call it a generic toothed wheel, 4-1 which would mean 4 teeth, 1 missing. Rotating at cam speed. Hella innacurate, I'd imagine, 360 degrees of crank rotation where it'd have no triggers at all.. But it is supported, and would get me wasted spark.

I've never heard of Mega128 or anything like that before. MS2/Extra is compiled with GCC. Standard MS2 code used Codewarrior, but the free version of Codewarrior doesn't support more than 32k, or so I've read.
I really just don't have time to learn to code right now. I've got a full time job, a family with 3 kids, and I recently started up a small MegaSquirt modification company that is getting enough business already to take up all my free time on the weekends. ( NeonSquirt)

Hey Una have you figured how to drive the stock TD tacho from a ms signal?
I am buying a whole car w. a 2.4 and a prebuilt mS and and wanted to use it to drive the factory tach. Probably won't swap in the 2.4 till fall.
Keep up the great work!
Also do you think there is a chance of using a tIII flywheel to fire MS?

Very easy to drive a tach off the MS, Tach Output mod. One of the easiest circuits to build in the proto area on the MS V3 PCB.
As for reading the TIII crank/cam sensors.. It's so rare, I seriously doubt it.

I registered at the MS forum, so i should post a request on the ignition forum? Basically I would post
"I have a turbo dodge distributor with 4 vanes at 36 degrees each with one window cut out. How do I set it up?" I would like to either set it up running with the distributor sending the spark through the rotor/cap or do wasted park"
Maybe include a pic too.
