Anyone here has an engine mounted fuel pressure gauge? I mean permanently. I was going to install it using the valve on the fuel rail but I remember reading somewhere (don't remember where exactly) to not use this valve to mount a permanent gauge because it could damage the fuel rail (due to vibration I think)

Is this true?

That's a good idea. You can also get kits that have an isolator in the line. You run fuel up to the isolator and then mineral oil or something light on the other side, to the gauge.

Is it okay to have a hose going from the schrader valve to the gauge taped to your windshield for tuning? Or is the vibration problem from the gauge mounted directly to the fuel rail?

Just the gauge screwed on the rail
That'd be the same as an AN line running from the rail to a gauge
