I was driving to day at 55mph, then downshifted to 4th, put my foot to the floor and was checking EGT's...never went over 1500 degrees, , then at the top of 4th, the car just died...no sputtering, no warning, just like someone unhooked the ign.(pulled the pug,LOL)....as soon as it died, i cllutched it, slipped it into N, and coasted about 1/2 mile....pulled over, looked under the hood, no loose grounds,, coil, plug wires all fine..... then i started the car right up, and it ran fine all the way home....1st elec. gremlin yet....any ideas?

sombody up above didn't want you to go so fast on that stretch of road so you could post about it and still be around?

I had a good one last night my headlights turned on but didn't pop-up... didn't exactly notice it till i pulled onto the road (in well lit parking light) and well turned them off and then back on 2 times and finally i had light in front of me...

reminds me of that first x- files episode the one where his car electronics die and he paints the X on the road.

i suggest you do the exact same thing and see if it happends again, if it does'nt it was probably one of those evil midas gremlins.
