Interesting...I recently have been experimenting with adding filtered drain oil to the alky for more mileage and power.I have not nailed the percentage yet,but one time I did run as much as 25% drain oil. It eventually fouled the injectors,and it took 10 gallons of techron gas in the tank to get it running again.The low end response was awesome,and the mileage was way up,but cold starts were pretty rough to say the least...but now it starts fine on a much lower percentage,but the mileage is still way up

you by chance wouldnt be talking about the stuff i see in summit, by the fuel additives would you? made for alky, one bottle treats 55 gallons, lubricates and prevents corrosion, comes in 4 different fragrances?

Yeah....and that 10% *MAY* be part of my hard start problem as right when that atarted showing up around here is when the car started acting up not starting when it's hot....

Did I mention I HATE ethanol?

My cold start problems were from the added oil,on straight ethanol it starts perfectly-your car may be having some type of vapor lock issue-hard to say exactly what it could be

I narrowed the issue down to the cal. I'm currently working with my vendor to try and correct the issue.
