This just started. It was an intermittent issue at 1st (for a couple days), but now it seems permanent. I just spent 4 1/2 hrs tearing all of the wiring out of the underside of my dash, steering column, back of the fuse panel, and bulhead connector. I have working left turn signals, but when i apply right turn signal, the light on the dash stays lit(no blinking)....the rear signal also stays lit, and the front one does nothing. I pulled the signal bulbs, and they are fine. Could a faulty signal switch inside the column be culprit? I did swap out the TBi Omni 's signal lever for one from an 83 Shelby Charger last year, and till now it has worked fine-in fact, the 83 one comes close enough to the steering column that it feels almost like any normal car's signal lever...not typical L body -have to take your hand off the wheel to reach the lever style, which is nice when you have 12 y.o. fat kid's tiny hands,LOL. I have such little electrical knowledge , and I am really stumped here. It is driving me nuts to manually toggle the signal on-off-on-off-on-off (you get the picture) every time i need to turn right...Help lease!

I would bet money on it being the column wiring harness where the turn signals and horn are...

I was having the exact same problem on my omni and then the horn wire shorted out on going down the column....

I replaced it for about $40US from Napa here in Texas

I know this is your problem!!!!

GOOD LUCK!!

oh well, 'nuff said.... it's always the simple stuff isn't it??

with these fwd Dodges, it seems like there is no such thing as a simple problem with the wiring or electrical... it is always compounded...

K.I.S.S.---words to live by...

Glad you got it fixed

Later,
Ryan
