The TrboVan Keeps Getting Better!

Oh Boy!

This is going to be fun.
I feel really bad for those Mustang guys now!

The new cal is AMAZING!

Fast spool, great throttle response, plenty of fuel across the board, Idle is perfect, starts better than ever before.

Running 17 PSI on the street.

Headed to the track this weekend!

'Vert was the Wife, '87 SC daughter. Now the wife wants the '88 Shelby Z is being converted to auto so the daughter can drive it. She doesn't want to, likes the SC... Wife thinks it's bigger heavier and safer... In the meantime I just keep wrenching hehehe

If only I could get my wife to appreciate these cars...she can't stand them, even though she's rode down the track with me a time or two.

Well I have convinced my wife they are cool (to watch)

We (Me-Her-3 kids) are headed to a track 4 hours away tomorrow.

Test and Tune on Saturday.
Then we are camping overnight at the track in our Pop-up camper.
Sunday is more racing.

Should be a good weekend.

I will run the van (or maybe even get her to run it)
and the Sha-Dough.

Well I made it to the track and only got 2 runs in before the rain.

The van was not up to par.
I recently had the transmission rebuilt and now it revs out to about 6,200 before shifting, not good.

So on the 2nd run I tried to let off and let it shift, but no luck.

So I need to tweak the trans before I can get some decent times again.
