All of a sudden the tona's tack is freaking out. Bouncing and spinning. I noticed that the alt gage is also tweaking. Any Ideas what is causing this?

I have digi dash, but my guess would be check the grounds and the wiring from the gauge to the coil or wherever. My car did some funky stuff with dirty engine ground.

I can say with almost 100% certainty that it is the tranny ground that is dirty & corroded, simply remove the drivers side part of the airbox like you would too change a filter, get out the 15mm socket and take out the bolt that holds in the black wire that is attached too the tranny with a brass eyelet, and sand the brass eyelet clean and then sand/clean the contact point the tranny. Then watch you tach function like it should

You'll have too pull the air box on an N/A car too see it, but it's a big brass eyelet that's bolted too the top of the tranny right in the middle of it, just too the drivers side of the timing window
