simple question....do those pillar mount gauge pods really fit universally? a little hair dryer heat, and some screws? are they easy to wire up?

I picked up a unviversial gauge pod from ebay,i just trimmed it down some and drilled holes at the top and bottom of it while the trim piece was out of the van, what you might want to do is drill the top portion, and then wait until you get the pod in the car and then mark the place to drill your bottom holes to get the perfect fit for you. the ones on jcwhitney.com by sunpro are said to use hair dryer heat.and Http:///www.gaugepods.com might have a pre-built custom pod set for you.i'd check there first, then ebay.also for the wiring just drill a hole in the trim piece and run it down the side so no wires show.!. Good Luck!

Mustang for 79 to 93 work great if you heat them up a little and spread them open. See my site.
