There's only a couple things holding back my Horizon Turboizing - one of them being the wiring. Originally this was a carbureted car (having some regrets, but its a pretty sharp car) so I know I'll have a few things to deal with.

I know I'll have to drill myself a hole on the firewall for the computer in the kick-panel - that's not a problem, but I was wondering if the firewall plug wires will have to be changed? That's what I've been working on figuring out. This was an 87 carbureted, and its getting 87 T1 electronics. Will I have to do some wire swapping or might the plug work ok?

Thanks a bunch

Why not SMEC it? I converted my NA to MPI with a SMEC

Wasn't all that hard either

Well - I'm not worried about what electronics I have. I have 87 T1 and anything else is going to cost me more money. My problem is entirely in the dash plug on the harness. I'm only curious if the wires match up on a Carbed (Not TBI) to MPFI Turbo - or do I need to do some wire tracing and re-wire the plug so all my lights, ignition, etc are working properly. It's just that my turbo harness is taped up like a wacko around the plug, so I can't see where the wires are comin from - If I need to tear it up and retape it I will - just curious if I hate to go this route.
